A fun poster to help children learn key word signs for days of the week.

 

This poster comes in A2 or A3 size and contains all the key word signs for days of the week. There are also two options sky background or white.

 

The key word sign poster also provides you with access to video tutorials (via QR code) for the signs of the week to assist with your learning.

 

This poster includes the key word signs for:

 

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

 

Key word sign is an alternative and augmentative communication tool that uses signs (kindly borrowed from Auslan), gestures and facial expressions alongside speech to aid a child’s communication while pre speaking or they have unclear speech. We encourage all children to be introduced to key word sign due to numerous other benefits such as improve vocabulary and the inclusive nature of encouraging children to have peer-to-peer communication between children that need to use key word sign and those that know it. Key word sign is often used by autistic children, children with Down’s syndrome, Childhood Apraxia of Speech and Development Language Disorder.
