As we know how important children love toys and play items and are often items that a child will request or what to communicate about, and is also great to encourage back and forth communication which is vital for communication and language development.

 

These flashcard come in 2 different size options –

 

A8 flashcards are made from synthetic tear proof material on a hinged ring and has 15 signs but access to all 24 video tutorials of the key word signs, the 15 signs include:

 

Ball, Blocks, Bubbles, Car, Dinosaur, Digger, Doll, Drawing, Dress Up, Game, Painting, Play Dough, Sand, Teddy Bear, Toy

 

The A7 set come in card (in a box) or synthetic (on a hinged ring) and contain 24 key word signs:

Children’s key word sign is an alternative and augmentative tool that uses signs (borrowed for Auslan), gestures and facial expression alongside speech with only key words being signed. It has been showed to improve comprehension of words and reduces frustration and meltdowns once children are able to embrace and use this communication method to effectively communication while non verbal.
